During my recent city break at Hotel Rappen am Münsterplatz, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality and fantastic amenities. The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of Freiburg, making it easy for my father and I to explore all the charming streets and vibrant markets just steps away from our door. Our double room, which was generously upgraded to a suite upon my father's arrival, offered a soundproof retreat - the double-paned windows kept us blissfully undisturbed despite the buzz of the nearby cathedral and market. I loved starting each day with the complimentary breakfast buffet - it was a delightful array of local specialties that appealed to my palate as well as my father's. We even enjoyed relaxing together on the terrace, soaking in the atmosphere of Münsterplatz while sipping complimentary drinks on a hot day. I truly appreciated not just the cozy accommodations, but also the attentive staff who were always eager to assist us with any queries. In short, Hotel Rappen is a gem that I would happily visit again, especially for its perfect balance of comfort and location!
